Personal data and purposes

When you access this website, standard technical requests may be processed by the web host and security/content-delivery provider. They may involve IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, browser and device information, and security signals. The purposes are delivering the requested pages, protecting the site, troubleshooting faults and preventing abuse. The legal basis, where personal data is involved, is generally the controller’s legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), balanced against users’ rights.

When you contact us by email, we process your email address, the information you choose to send, and correspondence necessary to answer you and deal with requests or disputes. The normal legal basis is legitimate interests in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)); processing necessary to satisfy a legal obligation may rely on Article 6(1)(c). Do not email passwords or other account secrets.

Browser-based diagnostic tools

Tool answers, numerical inputs and config text are processed within your browser by the FragClinic code. The plugin does not send those inputs to our server, place them in a site account or call an AI/Steam service. Standard page requests and server/security logging still occur.

Providers, recipients and international processing

  • Website hosting: Namecheap — may process access records and security logs.
  • Content delivery / website security: Cloudflare — may process connection metadata, IP addresses and security events.
  • Incoming email service: Proton Mail — processes messages and message metadata sent to our published address.

These providers may process data in countries outside Finland. Ask the controller for details of applicable processing locations and transfer safeguards.

The operator does not sell submitted personal information. Hosting, security and email providers process information as needed to supply their services under their respective agreements; competent authorities may receive information when required by law.

Retention

  • Access and security records: Retention is governed by the active hosting and security provider configuration; contact the operator for the applicable schedule.
  • Email correspondence: Kept only as necessary to respond to requests and meet legal obligations; contact the operator for specific retention details.

Cookies and similar technologies

The bundled site does not install advertising or analytics tags or set tracking cookies. WordPress administration and any enabled infrastructure security service may use cookies necessary for login or network protection. See the Cookie Policy. Adding advertising, analytics or embeds requires updated notices and an appropriate consent solution before nonessential storage or access begins.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi). Email us to exercise your rights; we may need enough information to verify a request.
